History of Salt Therapy

Salt has been used for healing purposes all over the world since ancient times.  Specifically, SALT THERAPY originated about 150 years ago in Eastern Europe with Dr. Bochkovsky's discovery of health benefits mine workers attained working the mines.  They rarely suffered from respiratory ailments, lung disease, or colds.  He attributed this to inhalation of dry salt aerosol on a daily basis.

With no airborne pollutants or humidity, and a stable temperature, Salt Mines proved beneficial for healthy lungs & skins.  People with asthma, allergies, emphysema, and other respiratory & skin problems began heading to salt mines in hopes of benefitting from breathing the healing dry aerosol found deep under ground.

Modern Technology, through the use of special HALOGENERATORS, has brought the benefits of Salt Therapy to people without having to travel to salt caves in Europe & Asia.

Get Salted, Get Glowing Youthful Skin

skin-benefit

Regular and consistent Salt Therapy improves skin's elasticity, kills bacteria and helps manage many skin conditions.

Dry salt is antibacterial and super absorbent, actively killing bacteria and reducing inflammation in the respiratory system, while improving symptoms like itching and inflammation from skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.  While smaller particles are breathed in, larger salt particles land on your skin.

Salt is also a great natural anti-aging substance that can keep our skin looking clean, young, and tight by stimulating the skin's micro circulation and balancing the skin's pH.

LUNGS

Salt Therapy Helps Get Your Lungs In Shape

Regular and consistent Salt Therapy can improve lung function, reduce bronchial inflammation, and reduce symptoms of allergies, asthma, and respiratory issues.

Kinetically activated dry-salt aerosol is antibacterial, anti-fungal and super absorbent.  When breathed in, it's a natural cleaning agent and expectorant.   Microscopic salt particles travel deep into the lower respiratory system, helping to detox lungs.   You may experience a slight cough, expelling  unwanted mucus, killing bacteria and reducing inflammation in the respiratory system helping you to breathe easier.  Salt Therapy can be a complement to traditional medicine.   Ask your physician if Salt Therapy may be beneficial to you.  We Don't Eat Salt; We Breathe It!

MIND

Negative Ions Create Positive Vibes

Regular & consistent Salt Therapy can promote a deep sense of relaxation and reduce stress.   There's something in OUR air that just may boost your mood -- get of Breath of  Negative Ions!

"Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible molecules that we inhale in abundance in certain environments. Think mountains, waterfalls, and beaches. Once they reach our bloodstream, negative ions are believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of the mood chemical serotonin, helping alleviate depression, relieve stress, and boost our daytime energy."

"Generally speaking, negative ions increase the flow of oxygen to the brain; resulting in higher alertness, decreased drowsiness, and more mental energy," says Pierce J. Howard, PhD, author of The Owners Manual for the Brain: Everyday Applications from Mind Brain Research and director of research at the Center for Applied Cognitive Sciences in Charlotte, N.C.

"They also may protect against germs in the air, resulting in decreased irritation due to inhaling various particles that make you sneeze, cough, or have a throat irritation."

It's no doubt so many people are stressed out.  Sitting in front of TV's, computers, cell phones, and electronics  in our homes & offices all day, expose us to lots of positive (agitating) ions.  The result is lack of concentration, nervousness, and sleeplessness. Ask your physician if Salt Therapy may be beneficial to you!
