Relax Into Your Being: The Health Benefits of Meditation and Relaxation
Come join us in this program for a meditation experience in the salt rooms. Dr. Daniel Winkle will lead a program that teaches how meditation changes our brains, hormones, DNA, and immune system.
The program is both informational and experiential. You will walk away with several skills that will help to enhance your ability to relax and understand the effects it will have on your body. All of this will be enhanced by the peaceful environment of the salt room.
Dr. Daniel Winkle MD is a physician who specializes in Mind Body Medicine and Physical Medicine. He was trained in mind body medicine and received his certification in mind body medicine in 2018 through the Center for Mind Body Medicine. The certification process includes over a 100 formal hours in supervised training in mind body medicine. He utilizes mindfulness, meditation, and a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach in all of his patient encounters and teaches people to place self care at the center of any health program.
